Vinacafe is currently one of Vietnam's leading coffee exporters, accounting for over 50 per cent of the local instant coffee market share. The product's prestige in the world market is based upon the quality of its product plus the combination of modern and traditional production technologies. These factors have made Vinacafe's annual average growth reach 20.25 per cent in the last seven years, according to Vu Trung Toan, chief of Northern branch of the Bien Hoa Coffee Plant. 

Currently, Vietnam has three instant coffee producers: Vinacafé which produces 1,000 tonnes a year, Nestcafe (1,000 tonnes a year), and Trung Nguyen (200 tonnes a year).
